VENUS Says: Colour The Grey
So as part of sydney node, we're planning a rite at the witching hour to take place at bondi beach north end. part of this rite will be the unleashing of the chaos-midoclorian-virii that we're spending the next 2 months builing up. The virii are to be stored in all sorts of things: sparklers, candles, soap bubbles, paint, chalk, sigilised confetti - whatever each participant wants to contribute.
On monday night i did my first Colour The Grey ritual. The intent was to start the charging of on Virii candle to be used during the beach working.... I've got loads of pictures, artworks and posters of various gods and goddesses and the one that struck out most that night was Venus.
I adorned the temple space in silver and purple and with my favourite picture of all time, boticelli's _birth of venus_ and called her in...
I told her of COLOUR THE GREY and she spoke of magickal reawakenings. I spoke of rainbows and she spoke of love. I spoke of the global problem with the WTO and their devastation and she blessed the candle with loads of funky energy... it was great, sexy and amazing.....
I'm going to be doing similar rites quite frequently between now and then..... people in sydney are welcome to join me... you others can start your own of course. i've done one rite since then - Aum Shiva ! and will detail that in a seperate post.
